Referral
You do not necessarily need a referral. Feel free to contact me directly to make an appointment either by phone or via the contact form. You can also be referred by your GP or other health professional if you prefer to ensure good information provision and co-ordination of services. If you complete a Mental Health Care Plan with your GP you will also be able to claim a Medicare rebate for my services. The Medicare rebate is currently $82.00 for a maximum of 10 sessions. Fees Costs and rates are listed below. All fees are payable in advance online or at the end of the session. Cancellation fees of the full cost of the session apply if less than 24 hrs notice is given to cancel or change your appointment. |
Rates
Initial Consultation in rooms or via Skype: 1 hour $180.00
Follow-Up Consultations in rooms: 50 mins $180.00
All after hours appointments (after 5pm) $180.00
Follow-Up Consultations via ZOOM: 50 mins $170.00
NDIS may also be able to fund sessions if this is provided for in your package and you are Plan or Self managed.
Veterans and their families can contact Open Arms for referral and will have no out of pocket costs.
Clients who are referred by Carers Vic will have no out of pocket costs for the 6 sessions which Carers Vic fund.
Some Private Health Insurers will allow you to claim for counselling from a AMHSW or ACA counsellor through your Extra's. Check with your insurance.
Unfortunately, as I often cannot fill the sessions at short notice, cancellation fees apply if less than 48hrs notice is given.
